about

At some point in 1996, Mike Greenlees and Tom Zaluckyj of Tar threw in with Greg Dunlap of Buzzmuscle and Tony Jones of Sixteen Tons to form a new band which would come to be known (to well over a dozen people) as Luckyj. Before Tom moved to Denver, they convened at Electrical Audio Recording to track an album, which was promptly shelved. We now make these recordings available to you in the only digital format we have at the moment. The 2-tracks exist, opening the door to a possible REAL release some day.

released June 19, 2020

Luckyj was Tom Zaluckyj, Tony Jones, Greg Dunlap, Mike Greenlees, with Mark Zablocki chipping in on "Quietest Guy."

Recorded by Tom Zaluckyj at Electrical Audio Recording on August 21-24, 1997. Rob Bochnik and Greg Norman were tag-teamed for additional engineering expertise and tape op duties. Final mixes by Rob Bochnik, I think.
